Healing the Root of Addiction
Beyond Addiction is a 16-week online recovery program created by Sat Dharam Kaur ND that explores the roots of addiction, compulsive behaviours, and emotional coping patterns through an integrated and trauma-informed approach.
Addiction and coping patterns can take many forms. While they may include substance use, they can also appear through overworking, emotional withdrawal, compulsive habits, constant distraction, technology use, food, productivity, or other behaviours used to manage stress, discomfort, or emotional pain.
Combining Kundalini Yoga, counselling principles, naturopathic medicine, and community support, the program is designed to help participants better understand the underlying causes of addiction and coping mechanisms while developing healthier ways of responding to stress, emotional pain, and daily life.
Throughout the program, participants move through 16 thematic modules that support greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful behavioural change over time. The process encourages participants to recognize habitual reactions, strengthen connection with themselves and others, and establish practices that support greater steadiness, clarity, and wellbeing.
The online format allows participants to engage in this work gradually while remaining within the context of their everyday lives. For many, it offers a more accessible and approachable alternative to an in-person immersion experience.
